In case anyone is still wondering if this company is a scam let me fill in some blanks. Global Entertainment Network (http://www.GlobalCastingNetwork.com) is an evolution of one of the largest entertainment scams.
They started about 3 years ago using the name Exposed Casting. Then after they had to many complaints they changed it to Star Search Casting. Then PrimeTime Entertainment (http://www.PrimeTimeCasting.com), then ShowTime Entertainment http://www.ShowTimeEntertainment.com and now Global Entertainment Network http://www.GlobalCastingNetwork.com
If you have any doubts that these are all the exact same company still being run by Neil Pallante (Aniello Pallante Jr.) and Steven Potter just take a look at their About Us page on all 3 sites. They are identical:

Now look at the Casting Notices they have listed on each site. They are also all the same:

Somehow this company has stayed in business while scamming thousands and thousands of people. They have numerous complaints with Attorney Generals all over the country. They seem to be good at making everyone think they are a new company by changing their name, phone, and addresses. But it is always the same owner with the same general manager (Temre Potter).
The number one problem is once they get your money it is almost impossible to get it back. They have said they have a 30 day money back guarantee for as long as they have been in business but they don't honor it in most cases. They use every tactic to keep your money from telling you that they had to mail your check because their merchant account got closed down to you need to wait the full 30 days to request your refund to ShowTime Casting was the old company and we are a new company so we cant refund you. In all cases they almost always keep the customers money and when they get so many chargeback's that their merchant company shuts them down they just get another account and start over.
They also billed thousands of customers an annual renewal fee without notifying them that they would be charged. And then customers had trouble getting a refund for that.

I think its finally time that someone actually set the story straight as to what really occurred with Global Entertainment Network and StarsearchCasting. Global Entertainment Network was a sales and marketing company selling memberships to Starsearchcasting.com owned and operated by Jonathan Parker. Jonathan Parker was supposed to be responsible for providing the service to all the clients and maintaining the website and all customer service for those clients that Global registered. A service that he never fulfilled. The website was constantly breaking down and unavailable to the clients registered and the service was not as he represented it would be causing a major problem for Global Entertainment, and ultimately caused them to loose there merchant account. At that point Global felt the only way to provide the service to the clients and to be able to refund the Starsearch clients was to provide the service themselves and create there own website. That is when Jonathan Parker went on the offensive and sabotaged every attempt by contacting every client and taking no responsibility for the situation and directing them to contact the BBB and the merchant processor and filing complaints and charge backs causing major damages and losses for Global only to save his own behind. He continued to use the internet and sites like this one "he is actually the author of this complaint" sabotaging any effort of a possible legitimate competitor to his site. I'm happy to see that he has actually received a taste of his own medicine based on the number of complaints that have been placed against him and his company. Jonathan Parker and StarSearchcasting are and always have been the true scammers!!!

The company this person is talking about started doing business in 2003 and was only in business for about 3 years. They kept changing their name and website so people would not catch on to their scam. They were located near San Diego California in Oceanside and also used an address in Carlsbad. Many people still confuse the scam which operated out of Oceanside California with the real Star Search Casting located in Ventura California because they used the same name.
Fortunately, the scam company is no longer around but their bad reputation continues to hurt a legitimate company.
