I have contacted Viasat to get a quote on internet and phone service and they gave me a quote of $ 69.98 for the service. A Viasat installer came out the next day and installed a satellite. When he finished I checked to see how the equiptment was working and I had no phone service! I called Viasat and ask them why I had no phone service and their reply was , " oh you didn't order phone service"!! I did order phonne service and was given a quote as previously stated of $ 69.98 for internet and phone service. I immediately told Viasat I was cancelling my service because I did not get the installation service I requested nor the price I was given!! The installer was to remove the satellite dish but instead of being honest he also was a scam artist and cheat and drove off in a speed to keep from unstalling the satellite dish as requested to do so!! Viasat has charged me debit card for

$ 363.96 and for what??? They have their equiptment back , I never used their service, I had to get a neighbor to take the receiver from the middle of the satellite dish as I am disabled and can not climb a ladder. I sent back all Viastat's equiptment in excellent , unused condition and now they want to still charge me for $ 363.96!!! I don't think so!!! I contacted my bank and Viasat lied to my bank investigator and said they had permission to debit my account for the $ 363.96!! This is not only fraud but theft and is a federal offence and I am going to go the full play until they send back a credit to my checking account for the full amount previously mentioned!

This is what you get from Viasat, defrauding and stealing from a disabled senior and I would tell eny doing business or thinking of doing business with Viasat to NOT do business with them!! There are legit services like TMobile, Spectrum, etc.   PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VIASAT THEY ARE CROOKS OF THE WORST KIND!!!  Thank you

Yes I'm 78 years of age and disabled on a fixed income . Viasat did not give me a signed contract nor did I sign one. The service was put in and was not correct, I had no phone service which I ordered with internet!  I immediately told the installer to take the equiptment back to his truck. The installer made out like he was going to get his tools got in his truck, sped off and left me holding the bag to take the equiptment down and return it to Viasat.  I did NOT sign a contract only put my initials on the installers Ipad stating he had authorization to install the service. If this was indeed a contract when the installer told me " this is only an authorization for me to install your service", then he's a liar! I have no contract in front of me and Viasat knows full well they are thieves. Viasat did not have my permission to take $ 363.96 out of my banking account and this makes them thireves. I have filed a report with the FBI Cyber Crimes Unit as this is a federal offewnce to talke money out of someones banking account without their authorization and if this doesn't set well with you and you want to try and put me down for my loss I can consider the source and we may very well be in court over this. You sound like an individual who puts his nose where it doesn't belong!

Please tell us what Federal Law was broken. Secondly, you're so well schooled in the law, also tell us all about the Terms and Conditions YOU agreed to. As a skilled lawyer who knows Federal Law, you most certainly have the common sense to have read those TC's to see the provisions which very plainly state you are billed one month in advance for this SUBSCRIPTION service and billing starts when the service is activated. I'm sure you've reviewed those TC''s to see what I saw within a few seconds of reading your rant. Oh yes, I'm glad you told me about the propensity of this company to pick on you only because of your age and alleged disability. I will keep my clients informed. I do have a case coming up in Federal Court the beginning of June. Maybe I'll see you there and we can swap war stories in camera.
